Woman killed, 2 injured in Lima crash

A crash on Routes 5 and 20 in Lima, Livingston County, on Friday night left one woman dead and two other people seriously injured.

According to state police, Amy Patterson, 44, of Lima, was headed eastbound on Routes 5 and 20 around 9:50 p.m. when she drifted into the westbound lane and struck a vehicle driven by 66-year-old Wayne Frisbie, also of Lima.

Frisbie's passenger, his wife Jeannine Frisbie, was taken to University of Rochester Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.

Patterson and Wayne Frisbie were also taken to URMC, both with serious injuries.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing and charges are pending, police said.
