Greece's Fesyuk out on Ninja Warrior

Staff report
Pavel Fesyuk

Greece resident Pavel Fesyuk will not be the first person to win American Ninja Warrior.

The 31-year-old exterminator fell on the Double Salmon Ladder while trying to complete stage two in the season 7 finale, which aired Monday night.

Fesyuk was one of 38 competitors to complete stage one this season; he finished that course with less than one second remaining on the clock.

He drew some attention for having fun during the competition with his propensity to take selfies before and after his runs. He took another selfie before his run on stage two.

Fesyuk is a native of Russia who moved to the United States when he was 5. He graduated from Greece Athena High School.

There is a $1 million prize if somebody can complete all four stages of the American Ninja Warrior national finals, but nobody did so in the first six seasons.
