Last week: The 6-foot senior forward headed to Siena College had 15 points, 14 rebounds and 6 blocks in a win over Hornell, 16 points, 17 boards and 3 blocks in a win over Aquinas and 10 points, 13 rebounds and 4 blocks in a victory over Gates Chili. She's averaging 10 points, 13.6 rebounds and 4.2 blocks for the reigning Class C state champions.

Family: Parents, Jane and Alphonsus. She has five younger siblings.

Academics: 94 average.

About me: "Ella," her nickname, is a native of Abuja, Nigeria, She came to the U.S. in 2011 and lives with a host family. She sat out her sophomore season with a heart issue. She was named a Private-Parochial League all-star last year and to Class C all-tournament team at state championships. Played volleyball last fall. Chose Siena for its strong economics program. Also offered scholarships by Syracuse, LSU, Dayton, North Carolina St., St. Joseph's and Quinnipiac. Member of National Honor Society and Spirit Club.
