Holy Trinity Church in Webster will host its fourth annual Wine and Culinary Event on November 14 at the Webster Golf Club, 440 Salt Road in Webster, from 6:30-9:30 pm.

Each year, the church donates its proceeds from this event to a local charitable organization. This year, the beneficiary is the Williamson Come-Unity Center, a non-denominational center serving Wayne County residents in need.

The evening features six New York State wines as well as a local craft brewery with representatives there to serve and to answer any questions. The wine and beer will be expertly paired with samples of the main courses including flat iron steak, scallops, chicken French and more, along with specialty desserts provided by Cake Caroo. The popular Webster musical group Shared Genes will be on hand to provide live entertainment. Several silent auctions for a wide variety of gift baskets will be available for bidding on throughout the evening, including a Bristol Mountain ski package, high-end hair products from Milan, Italy, and wine or chocolate-themed baskets. Live auctions for unique prizes will complete the evening's festivities.

The Williamson Come-Unity Center began as an outreach to Wayne County's migrant farm worker community over a half century ago. It has since grown to provide food and emergency support to anyone in need through their Food Boxes, Hot Lunch and Day Old Produce and Bread programs. They generate revenue through their Common Cents Thrift Shoppe, which accounts for only about one-third of the center's annual budget, meaning they have to rely heavily on community donations and fund-raising events such as the Holy Trinity Wine and Culinary Event.
