Barnhart-Bronson debate is Wednesday

State Assemblyman Harry Bronson and former WROC-TV reporter Rachel Barnhart will debate Wednesday days before their Sept. 13 Democratic primary.

The Voice of the Voter debate is set for 8 p.m. Wednesday. Voice of the Voter is a collaboration of WXXI, WHAM-TV (Channel 13), the Democrat and Chronicle and WDKX-FM (103.9).

The 138th Assembly District includes parts of the city of Rochester and the towns of Henrietta and Chili. Bronson has represented the district since 2010.

There also is a Republican primary for the same seat, pitting Bob Zinck against Peter Vazquez.

The debate will be aired live on WXXI and livestreamed by DemocratandChronicle.com and the other partners.
