Meet the 2016-17 All-Greater Rochester Winter Sports teams — 164 athletes and 16 coaches selected to represent 14 teams.
Three athletes repeated as Players of the Year, including a track star who broke national records and appeared in Sports Illustrated. Two AGR nominees are triplet sisters, born premature and underweight who now overpower their Nordic skiing competition. A wrestler lives and works on a dairy farm and still found time to win a Section V title. One has Asperger Syndrome and won multiple sectional championships. Another battled leukemia and is in remission.
